Kundirana 2007 with our nine-member singing had performed two shows at the Wilshire-Ebell Theater in Los Angeles and The Haugh Performing Arts Center in Glendora.
Our yearly Kundirana concerts, now on its 36th year, are joint project of the St. Denis Catholic Community and the La Salle Young Artists Foundation. The concerts benefit Bahay Pag-Asa, a corrective and transformational facility for young law offenders in Bacolod City, in the Philippines. Bahay Pag-Asa is a project envisioned by our Bro. Gus Boquer, President of De La Salle University, Bacolod City. Bahay Pag-Asa was the recipient of a $10,000 donation. The check was presented to Bro. Gus following the gala concert at The Haugh Performing Arts Center in Glendora on Sunday, April 22. Ms. Lisa Santos, very active and generous supporter of Kundirana is the overall US Angeles Coordinator of Kundirana concerts.
Kundirana 2007 mentors are: Bro Felipe, Bro Mandy, Sir Manny, Sir Nong, Sir Dino and of course, our Guru Sir Montet! The Nuestra Senora de Guia has always been there for us as our guide.
